Welcome to the Safix community! We strive to create a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all our Users and Drivers. These Community Guidelines ("Guidelines") complement our Terms of Use and set the standards of conduct we expect from everyone who uses the Safix platform. They also extend to interactions with Safix employees and contractors, and in some cases, to off-platform behavior if it could threaten the safety or reputation of the Safix community. Adhering to these guidelines helps us maintain high-quality service and trust within our community.
2. Core Principles
Our community is built on the following principles :
Kindness : We believe in kindness and want every member of our community to embody it.
Respect : Treat others as you would like to be treated. Respect differences, opinions, and personal space.
Safety : Safety is our top priority. All actions on the platform must contribute to creating a safe environment for everyone.
Honesty : Be honest and transparent in your interactions.
Responsibility : Take responsibility for your actions and their consequences.
3. Prohibited Behavior and Actions
The following actions are strictly prohibited on the Safix platform :
Discrimination and Hate Speech : Any form of discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, marital status, age, or any other protected characteristic. Hate speech, insults, humiliation, or incitement to violence are prohibited.
Violence and Threats : Threats of physical violence, intimidation, harassment, or any other behavior that may cause harm or create a sense of danger for others.
Illegal Activity : Using the platform for any illegal purposes, including, but not limited to, transporting prohibited substances, illegal trade, fraud, theft, vandalism, or any other violation of applicable law.
Fraud and Deception : Providing false information, payment fraud, attempts to deceive the system or other users, and any other dishonest behavior. This includes, but is not limited to: deliberately increasing the time or distance of a trip/delivery; accepting requests without the intention to complete them; creating fictitious or duplicate accounts; abusing promotions; or disputing payments for false reasons.
Unauthorized Access and Use : Attempts to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, Safix systems, or the use of automated means (scripts, bots) without explicit permission from Safix.
Violation of Privacy : Collecting, using, or disclosing personal information of other users without their consent. Publishing or distributing private information (e.g., phone numbers, addresses) without permission. This also includes unwanted contact after a trip or delivery is completed, such as calls, text messages, social media contact, or attempts at in-person visits, if there is no mutual consent.
Disrespect for Property : Intentional damage to Driver vehicles or other users' property, including, but not not limited to, smoking inside the vehicle, intentionally spilling liquids, leaving trash, or vandalism.
Unacceptable Content : or distributing content that is pornographic, obscene, offensive, defamatory, infringes on third-party intellectual property rights, or content that violates public morality, promotes violence, self-destructive behavior, advocates for prohibited organizations, or causes public discontent.
Content Related to the Safi Mascot: Content related to the Safi mascot must align with the brand's spirit and may not be used in a derogatory, aggressive, or commercial context without Safix's permission.
Traffic Law Violations: and Users must comply with all applicable traffic laws and regulations
4. Reporting Violations
If you witness or are a victim of a violation of these Community Guidelines, we encourage you to report it immediately. You can do so through the "Report an Issue" feature in the Safix app or by contacting our support team at support@safix.io. Please provide as many details as possible, including the date, time, location, and a description of the incident.
5. Consequences of Violations
Safix takes violations of the Community Guidelines seriously. Consequences may vary depending on the nature and severity of the violation and may include:
Warning : An official warning may be issued for minor violations.
Temporary Suspension : Temporary suspension of access to the platform.
Permanent Ban : Permanent termination of access to the platform.
Legal Action : In cases of serious violations, such as illegal activity, Safix may report information to law enforcement authorities.
Safix reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine what behavior violates these Guidelines and to take appropriate action.
6. Updates to Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon their publication on the platform. We recommend that you regularly review these Guidelines to stay informed of the latest requirements.
7. Retention of Complaint and Violation Data
To ensure transparency, analysis, and compliance with legal requirements (in particular, the Digital Services Act — DSA), Safix may retain information about complaints, suspensions, and violations for up to 12 months. This data is used solely for internal purposes, reporting, and improving platform security.
